Position: Specialist for the Livelihood and Technical Assistance (LIFT) Project, Washington

Location: United States of America (the) – Washington D.C
The Specialist for the Livelihood and Technical Assistance (LIFT) Project will support the development of tools, documentation, stakeholder teams and the LIFT resource library in Washington DC. He/she will provide technical support for Save the Children’s participation in LIFT, prepare teams for assessments under LIFT and represent Save the Children in external forums.

Qualifications:

Bachelors’ degree in related field and 3 – 5 years experience in international developmental, food security and/or livelihoods program management and technical support, or related research experience; field-based experience in livelihoods, food security, nutrition or HIV a plus; an understanding of food security concepts and multi-sectoral programming, particularly in the context of HIV; demonstrated online research experience and ability to summarize documents into a classification system; solid writing, editing, researching, training and presentation skills, computer skills, particularly with online web applications and Microsoft Excel

The incumbent will be able to work independently, report effectively on project progress and represent Save the Children externally. Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
