Background
In the growing efforts of the UN system towards enhanced coherence and effectiveness at the country level, UNDP is increasingly being referred to as upon to play the role of Administrative Agent for UN Multi-Partner Trust Funds (MPTFs) and Joint Programmes (JPs) using pass-through arrangements and established for humanitarian, transition, reconstruction and development activities.
