Position: Consultancy Assignment: Development of Webinar Orientation Module
Location: United States of America ( The ), New York
Closing Date: Monday, 04 April 2011

Purpose:
UNICEF PD seeks a consultant to prepare the outline, two drafts of the Micronutrient Fortification module (initially based on literature provided by UNICEF, and a revised one for pretesting), pre-test it with relevant field colleagues, and finalize the products as specified below. For more information, see the attached Terms of Reference.

Specific Qualifications and Requirements:
- At least 5 years of proven experience in the field of communication for development or training in the social sector, including the development of training modules or courses and technical guidelines
- Proven background knowledge and subject matter expertise in micronutrient programme management;
- Ideally, experience working with UNICEF in C4D and nutrition, particularly at field level
- Advanced degree in communication and development studies, social sciences, behavioural psychology and/or training or facilitation;
- Strong understanding of UN and UNICEF approaches and experience in C4D
- Proven experience in the creation and design of learning content
- Experience with delivery of learning content and evaluation of training methodology and online capacity development are assets
- Excellent writing skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Advanced computer skills with proven ability to develop Powerpoint presentations
