Position: Coordinator, Small Grants & Working Groups TOPS Project

Save the Children US, the leading independent organization creating real and lasting change for children in need in the U.S. and around the world seeks a Small Grants & Working Groups TOPS Project Coordinator to be responsible for the small grants process ensuring sound financial management, timely financial reporting of the small grants program. S/he will provide direct support to and supervision of small grants recipients, including oversight of financial and administrative compliance, and timely flow of funds to small grantees. Working with the Project Director and other key personnel, the Small Grants and Working Groups Manager will support the establishment and operation of the TOPS Project’s Working Groups.
Requires BA/BS in Business Administration, Grants/Contracts Management, Accounting or related field. Minimum of three years of progressive experience in financial management and oversight of U.S. Government-funded grants and contracts compliance. Experience with an international NGO preferred. Detailed knowledge of U.S. Government and USAID rules and regulations for grants and cost principles for non-profit organizations required. Excellent computer skills, especially with using Excel for advanced and complex budgeting and tracking and ability to create, update, analyze, and present project finance and budget reports. Experience working with networks and/or cross-organizational working groups; good interpersonal and communication skills; excellent organizational skills and ability to assess priorities and manage a variety of activities with attention to detail. Proficiency in a foreign language in addition to English preferred (French/Spanish).
