Position: Associate Vice President, Corporate Partnerships

Save the Children US, the leading independent organization creating real and lasting change for children in need in the U.S. and around the world seeks an Associate Vice President, Corporate Partnerships to position Save the Children as the global children’s NGO leader in corporate sector engagement. S/he will lead corporate resource mobilization efforts; Deliver significant revenue goals through engagement with external stakeholders and partnerships with internal stakeholders; Work across Save the Children International to build global and multi-country corporate partnerships; Bring corporate and marketing opportunities to Save the Children to increase and enhance brand awareness and generate revenue; Develop marketing and branding strategies in conjunction with Marketing & Communications group; Help drive revenue for other business units such as sponsorship and internet; Lead and develop new business development and account management teams; Expand our services to the corporate sector to include corporate social responsibility and private/public sector partnerships.
Requires at least 10 years experience in progressively responsible private or public position, with significant not-for-profit and supervisory experience. Extensive experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, promotions and communications. Proven track record in new business development in the not-for-profit sector, working in competitive, matrixed environments. Ability to engage C-Suite executives and other high level executives. Proven experience in creating and leading a high performing team. Strong negotiation skills. Passion and commitment to Save the Children’s mission and values. BA required; advanced degree in marketing, business, or communications highly desirable. Corporate social responsibility and public private partnership experience highly desirable. International experience highly desirable. Up to 30% travel may be required.
