Project/Proposal Summary:
This assignment will support the training and information management objectives for the Bureau for Democracy, Conflict and Humanitarian Assistance (DCHA). The aims of the assignment will be to improve design, development and implementation of training modules and the management of information relevant to future events for USAID/DCHA.
Position Summary:
The mid-level Trainer/Facilitator will offer technical expertise in training and facilitation/moderation of DCHA events. This role will be responsible for designing and developing training courses/workshops and will collaborate with the MIS Specialist in synthesizing evaluation information for knowledge management. This role would involve mid-to-full-time responsibilities over the course of three-years.

Responsibilities:
* Provide professional facilitation/moderation for DCHA events
* Design and develop training/workshop modules for DCHA
* Develop a training toolkit
* Create evaluation forms, and compile findings summaries of all trainings
* Collaborate with MIS Specialist in creating database to capture findings from reports.
Qualifications:
* Incumbent MUST have, at a minimum, a Bachelor’s degree with eight years of experience OR Master’s with six years of experience OR a Ph.D. with three years of experience.
* Should have experience in designing or developing training materials related to international crises, stabilization and/or democracy programming.
* Should have experience in training and facilitation, specifically in adult learning, organizational development or related fields
* Experience with event evaluation and information synthesis
* Previous USAID experience is preferred
* Excellent management skills
* Ability and willingness to travel internationally for 1-2 conferences per year, approximately 1 week each.
