Position: PREPARE Project Officer, Washington

PREPARE is a United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Bureau for Global Health sponsored program designed to strengthen the early identification and rapid response to outbreaks of pandemic diseases in a timely and sustainable manner in at risk countries.

RESPONSIBILITIES

# Manage the monitoring and evaluation process for the PREPARE project;
# Prepare quarterly and annual project activity reports;
# Assist the Chief of Party in the administrative management of the USAID funded PREPARE project;
# Ensure project documents are organized on the internal server as well as manage the content of the project SharePoint site;
# Maintain project calendar and Grant Chart;
# Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

# Bachelors degree in management with 5 years experience in project management or;
# Master Degree inn Public Health, Business or Public Administration with 2 years of project management experience;
# Monitoring and evaluation training and/or experience;
# Good command of English language, ability to write and edit technical documents;
# Knowledge of French a plus;
# Field experience in the Congo as in and/or South East Asia desirable.
