The Investment and Credit Risk Department (CRV) is responsible for (i) the review of all IFC’s new investments and portfolio projects; (ii) the development of investment guidelines; (ii) the design and delivery of credit training programs for all IFC investment staff; and (iii) Integrity Due Diligence screening for Investment and Advisory operations. CRV is currently seeking a motivated Team Assistant with a high degree of initiative and strong administrative skills, a dedication to teamwork and excellent interpersonal skills.

Duties and Accountabilities
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Providing a full range of administrative support such as scheduling meetings, managing logistical arrangements for travel, and ensuring effective processing of all documents and correspondence, including appropriate clearances and distributions.
Word processing including editing, proofreading, and formatting a variety of documents accurately and independently in a timely manner while ensuring compliance with CRV guidelines and high-quality output.
Handling internal expense and travel transactions.
Proactively handling telephone inquiries and being able to resolve non-routine problems.
Answering/redirecting inquiries using initiative and good judgment.
Event planning and coordination.
Provide assistance with all types of administrative requests such as telephone/telecom services, staff directory changes, visitor’s pass, videoconferences/teleconferences, eService requests and others.
Provide back-up support to other administrative staff as required.
Encourage and maintain a high level of teamwork, help maintain a positive work environment and establish effective working relationships in other units.
Other ad hoc duties as required.

Selection Criteria
Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, and ability to organize, edit, and draft a variety of documents.
Good proofreading skills and attention to detail to ensure high standards.
Proficiency in office technology systems – Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, PowerPoint.
High degree of flexibility and a demonstrated capacity to handle a variety of multiple concurrent activities, to judge priority and to take initiative.
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent team player with ability to interact tactfully and effectively with clients and staff in a multi-cultural environment.
High level of commitment and reliability and a willingness to actively contribute to the unit’s objectives.
