The Corporate Strategy Department (CCS) is responsible for developing corporate operational strategies, advising departments on the development of their own strategies, and providing analytical and strategic support to IFC Senior Management. This includes inter alia management of internal strategy process, internal corporate reporting (e.g., Corporate Scorecard, Investment Client Survey, IQMR), Board relationships/interface (Road Map, Quarterly Report to the Board, Monthly Operations Report), IEG-IFC interface, IFI interface, and various elements of corporate support (e.g., Strategists & Economists Network). The Strategy Analyst s role is to support CCS s work across all functions as needed, with an emphasis on Management Team support and internal and Board reporting.

Duties and Accountabilities:
* Road Map: Conduct external research and maintain repository of reference materials in areas of strategic importance; liaise with other departments to collect information as needed; write and/or edit sections of the paper as requested, including the Regional Annex; provide updated program projection data and analysis from the business program template
* Annual Management Team Strategy Presentations: Coordinate presentation schedule; provide clear, analytical, creative inputs for kick-off and wrap-up sessions; provide supporting materials for evaluation of department strategies
* Business Program Projections: Create the template/model in consultation with key stakeholders; provide guidance to inputting departments; manage the data collection process; provide analysis of corporate and department data in tables, charts and slides, including for the CCS annual strategy overview presentation to the Management Team
* Corporate Scorecard: Work with stakeholders to devise metrics and targets; collect data from departments and provide tables/charts/slides on a quarterly basis along with comments/recommendations on key findings
* Strategists & Economists Network: Develop relationships across S&E network and with corollary departments; initiate and coordinate learning events
* Ad Hoc Requests: Provide high-quality outputs with minimal guidance in response to ad hoc requests for data/information about IFC program and/or strategy

Selection Criteria:
* Minimum of Master s Degree in related area (e.g., international affairs, economics, finance, etc.) and four years of related work experience or Bachelor s Degree in related area with six years of related work experience
* Familiarity with IFC s strategic priorities, strategy cycle and flagship strategy reports
* Demonstrated proficiency with IFC data systems (iDesk, MIS, etc.); strong working knowledge of IFC s operating, fiduciary and administrative processes and investment project cycle
* Demonstrated high proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint, including advanced data management functions
* Demonstrated ability to deliver at a consistently high level under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects
* Demonstrated ability to combine attention to detail with broad- based trend analysis
* Strong client focus and team orientation with collaborative positive attitude and proven capacity to build and management effective relationships (both laterally and with senior staff)
* Flexibility to shift between and support new projects as needed
* Interest in supporting corporate initiatives (e.g., Footprint Program, Community Connections Campaign and/or Business Continuity Plan) and working groups
