Position: Institutional Capacity Building and Functional Improvement Advisor

Deloitte seeks to recruit a well-qualified Institutional Capacity Building and Functional Improvement Advisor for a health systems strengthening project. The project focuses on strengthening health systems globally through innovative solutions and integrated programs aimed at achieving universal health coverage and improving the health status worldwide.

The Institutional Capacity Building and Functional Improvement Advisor, based in Washington DC, will oversee organizational capacity building activities within the project, and will provide technical direction and guidance on topics related to capacity building and organizational development . The individual fulfilling this role will report to the Project Director but will work closely with field staff and project teams overseeing activities related to capacity building and functional improvement.

Qualifications:
At least 10 years of experience in and proven track record in capacity building, organizational development or other related field
Experience working with organizations to strengthen internal business processes and operations
Experience working to develop local organizations to become build their capacity to deliver services and function more efficiently
Demonstrated abilities in management, leadership, and supervisory roles
Experience working in or with government ministries in developing countries , particularly the Ministries of Health and Finance
Experience working in developing countries
Advanced degree, masters of public health, health economics , or other related field
English fluency, written and spoken
