Role & Responsibilities
The Procurement Manager will be required to solve daily issues relating to global procurement and supply chain management. The Procurement Manager will organize and plan the staffs’ workload to ensure that deliverables are carried out efficiently within respective deadlines.

Specific Responsibilities
To provide senior procurement operations management for a major, multi-million dollar health project by:
Managing procurement workflow and instituting continuous improvement processes to increase on-time delivery;
Identifying and communicating strategic issues affecting procurement to the senior project management team;
Establishing streamlined procurement mechanisms and processes;
Serving as primary procurement interface with project directors and communicating constraints and opportunities;
Supervising CA-USA procurement staff assigned to the project and ensuring that staff receive necessary guidance and training;
Managing day-to-day procurement processes of the health project with a focus on continuous improvement programs and compliance tracking;
Providing operational and strategic advice to project’s leadership to improve service delivery and to increase client satisfaction;
Supervising CA-USA project procurement staff, including ensure that career development and training needs are met;
Serving as senior procurement counterpart to the client.

Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in a related field; Post graduate degree or training in business, supply chain, or related field desired.
15 + years of progressively responsible track record in procurement, supply chain and contract management, including staff supervision, preferably in the health sector.
Hands-on buying experience desired.
In-depth knowledge of USG procurement and contract regulations, rules and procedures.
