Position: Freelance Web Developer, Action Against Hunger-USA, New York

Job Objectives:

PROJECT OVERVIEW
ACTION AGAINST HUNGER | ACF INTERNATIONAL seeks a freelance web developer to oversee (a) the creation of a micro-site in support of a Millennium Development communications campaign during August, and (b) the maintenance and administration of our event-specific management system through September. This position will help ACF prepare for the upcoming United Nations MDG Review Summit in September.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create new micro-site using Drupal CMS
a. Install, configure and manage new Drupal installation
b. Site will need to be mirrored in three languages: English, French, and Spanish
c. Site will include a central video component and a petition form to collect names and contact information
d. Auto-responder email function will need to be incorporated into site
e. Configure theme/template files to reflect design files, which will be provided by an outside consulting company
• Convio eCommerce/Event Management
a. Provide necessary support for upcoming partnership event; all tickets will be sold through Convio’s eCommerce tool or other third-party ticketing software (i.e., EventBrite, Brown Paper Tickets)

Qualifications:
• Experience working with Drupal CMS
• Proficient with HTML, CSS, PHP and Javascript
• Experience using Convio CRM, preferably with experience with eCommerce tool
• Spanish and/or French language competence a plus

COMPENSATION: Project fee/retainer, commensurate with experience
